Introduction
Instant funding prop firms let you skip the evaluation entirely. You pay a one-time fee, receive a funded account the same day, and you are eligible for a payout from your first profitable trade. No profit target to hit first. No two-phase challenge. No waiting.
That is the pitch. The reality is more interesting, and considerably more varied than most comparison articles suggest.
We checked the terms of every significant instant funding provider directly on their own websites in August 2026. What we found was a 17-fold spread in what firms charge for the same amount of capital, a 14-fold spread in what they charge per dollar of loss room, and a set of drawdown mechanics that matter far more than the headline price. We also found at least one firm still being recommended across the web that stopped operating in January 2026.
This guide lists every firm currently offering a genuine no-challenge account, separates the forex and CFD market from the futures market because their economics are completely different, and shows you how to compare offers on the only two numbers that actually matter.
What instant funding actually means
A traditional prop firm sells you an evaluation. You pay a fee, trade a simulated account, hit a profit target without breaching a drawdown rule, and only then receive a funded account. Industry pass rates for these evaluations sit in the single digits to low teens, which is why the model works commercially for the firms.
An instant funding account removes that gate. You pay once and go straight to the account that generates payouts.
Two things are worth understanding about how firms make this work.
First, the fee is higher because the firm is not collecting multiple challenge fees from you. An evaluation trader who fails twice before passing has paid three fees. The instant funding fee is priced to approximate that expected total, which is why per-dollar-of-capital costs look steep in isolation.
Second, the risk parameters are usually tighter. Firms compensate for the missing evaluation filter by reducing the loss room, tightening the daily limit, or applying a trailing drawdown rather than a static one. The evaluation is not really removed. It is compressed into the funded account itself, which means your first drawdown is now the test.
There is a third thing that most articles omit. Nearly every account described as “funded” in the retail prop industry is a simulated account. Your profits are paid from the firm’s own revenue under a contract, not from your share of gains on live market positions. This is normal and it is how the model works, but it makes the firm’s financial health directly relevant to whether you get paid.
Forex and CFD instant funding prop firms
These firms offer no-challenge accounts across FX pairs, indices, metals, oil and in most cases crypto. All figures below were taken from each firm’s own website on 18 August 2026.

FXIFY
FXIFY runs two instant tiers with genuinely different risk profiles. The Standard account has no daily loss limit at all and an 8 percent trailing drawdown that converts to a static floor at your starting balance once you either reach 8 percent profit or take your first payout. That conversion is unusually trader-friendly and worth understanding, because it means the account becomes materially safer after your first successful stretch.
The Lite tier is cheaper to enter but carries a 3 percent daily limit, a 4 percent trailing drawdown and a 20 percent consistency rule. Traders can hold one of each simultaneously. Platforms are MT5, DXTrade and TradingView, with leverage up to 50:1.
Instant Funding
The firm behind instantfunding.com operates the widest range of instant products we found, including a distinctive 24-hour account (IF1) that stays live for exactly one day from your first trade with a 90 percent split, a 2 percent daily limit and a 4 percent maximum drawdown.
The flagship Instant Funding account uses what the firm calls Smart Drawdown: 10 percent initially, tightening to 5 percent once you have made 5 percent profit. There is no daily loss limit and no minimum trading days. First payout comes 14 days after your first trade, weekly thereafter. Platforms are MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader, with Match-Trader restricted to US traders. Leverage is 1:100 on currencies, 1:20 on commodities and indices, and 1:2 on crypto.
Note the restrictions: no weekend holding without a paid add-on, and leverage is temporarily reduced on metals, oil and indices for funded accounts.
City Traders Imperium
CTI is the most expensive instant option per dollar of capital in our comparison and, on rules, one of the two most forgiving. The drawdown is 6 percent static, calculated from your account balance rather than your floating equity, and there is no separate daily loss limit at all.
That combination is rare. A balance-based static drawdown means an open position moving against you does not eat into your buffer until it closes, and the floor never rises as you profit. For traders who hold positions through drawdown, this changes the arithmetic considerably.
The split starts at 70 percent, which is the lowest headline figure in the forex table, but escalates to 90 percent at Bronze VIP and 100 percent at Silver VIP. First payout is available on demand from day five. Personal expert advisors are permitted but third-party EAs are not, and martingale strategies are prohibited. News trading, weekend holding and overnight positions are all allowed.
Blue Guardian
Blue Guardian’s Instant plan spans $5,000 to $400,000 and is the cheapest large account we verified, at $467 for $100,000 before discount codes. The account carries a $3,000 daily loss limit and a $6,000 trailing drawdown at that size, with no minimum or maximum trading days.
The payout commitment is the standout feature: approved withdrawals are processed within 24 hours or the firm pays an additional 10 percent profit split. Platform coverage is the broadest in this comparison, including MT5, TradeLocker, Match-Trader, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, DeepCharts and TradingView.
Funded Trading Plus
Funded Trading Plus offers instant accounts from $5,000 to $200,000 with an 80 percent starting split that scales upward, and scaling potential to $5 million with a paid add-on. Risk parameters are a 4 percent daily loss limit and a 6 percent trailing maximum loss, with the trailing floor rising until it reaches your account balance.
The payout structure is among the fastest verified: first payout on demand from day zero, then every seven days. Platforms are MT5 and Match-Trader, leverage is 1:30, news trading and weekend holding are both permitted, and swap-free accounts are available.
FundedNext Stellar Instant
FundedNext restricts its instant product to smaller accounts, $2,000 to $20,000, starting at $59.99. The split starts at 70 percent and reaches 80 percent, dropping to 40 percent on news trades specifically.
There is no daily loss limit and no consistency rule, with a 6 percent trailing maximum loss. Payouts are on demand once the account reaches 5 percent growth, with a bi-weekly option, and the firm guarantees payment within 24 hours or pays $1,000 extra. The scaling plan doubles your balance at every 10 percent growth up to $2 million.
OFP Funding
OFP’s instant accounts start at $50,000, and the Lite tier at $150 for $50,000 makes it the cheapest capital in our entire comparison on a per-$100,000 basis.
The trade-off appears in the rules. There is a 3 percent daily drawdown, a 5 percent maximum, a 5 percent profit target, a five-day minimum trading period and a 30-day account duration. Payouts are monthly rather than on demand, though the firm reports 93 percent of payouts completed within 48 hours. Trading is on TradingView, leverage is 1:100, and news trading is permitted.
The 30-day duration is important and easy to miss. This is closer to a time-limited funded account than an open-ended one.
Futures instant funding prop firms
The futures side works differently in three ways. Accounts are usually priced monthly rather than as a one-time fee, drawdown is typically calculated end-of-day rather than intraday, and the terminology is “straight to funded” or “direct funded” rather than instant funding.
Transparency is also noticeably worse. Several futures firms advertise direct-funded access without publishing complete rule sets, which is a meaningful mark against them.
| Firm | Account sizes | Entry price | Profit split | Daily loss limit | Max drawdown | Payouts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tradeify (Lightning Funded) | $25,000 to $150,000 | $359 at $25K | 90% | $600 at $25K | $1,000 EOD trailing at $25K | First in 4 days, then every 5 days |
| My Funded Futures (Rapid) | Multiple tiers | Subscription | 90% | None on Rapid | EOD | Every 24 hours, no consistency rule |
| Bulenox | Up to $150,000 | Not published | Up to 90% | Not published | Not published | Daily |
| BluSky Trading | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| DayTraders.com | Up to $150,000 S2F | Not published | No ongoing split stated | Firm rules | Firm rules | Automated |
Tradeify Lightning Funded
The most transparent futures instant option we found. Lightning accounts come in $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 sizes, priced at $359 for the $25,000 tier as a one-time fee, frequently discounted.
The account carries a 90 percent profit split, a $1,000 end-of-day trailing maximum drawdown and a $600 daily loss limit at the $25,000 size. First payout arrives in four days and payouts run every five days thereafter. There are no consistency rules once funded. Platforms are Tradovate, WealthCharts, Rithmic via TradeSea, and NinjaTrader.
The $1,000 drawdown on a $25,000 account is tight. That is four percent, and it trails.
My Funded Futures
MFFU’s Rapid plan carries end-of-day drawdown, a 90/10 split, daily payout requests and no daily loss limits or consistency rules. Payouts can be requested every 24 hours and the firm advertises processing as fast as one minute. Platform support is extensive: NinjaTrader, Quantower, Tradovate, Fintevo, TradingView and DeepChart.
One caution. MFFU’s plans are structured around evaluation, and the firm’s own published material argues against instant funding for futures traders, citing higher entry costs and tighter rules. Read their plan documentation carefully before assuming any given tier is a true no-evaluation product.
Bulenox, BluSky and DayTraders.com
All three appear on third-party lists as offering direct funded access. Bulenox advertises up to $150,000 in funding, up to a 90 percent split and daily payouts, but does not publish its instant-account drawdown rules, daily loss limits or pricing tiers in an accessible form. Its direct-funding availability has historically been promotional and intermittent rather than permanent.
BluSky Trading and DayTraders.com publish even less. DayTraders.com offers straight-to-funded options up to $150,000 on ONYX and Quantower, and permits both automation and copy trading, which is unusual in futures prop.
Treat unpublished rules as a red flag. If a firm will not tell you the drawdown type before you pay, you cannot price the offer.
A firm to remove from your shortlist
FundingTicks announced a wind-down in January 2026 following trader backlash over rule changes introduced in December 2025, which included a one-minute minimum hold time, higher daily profit requirements and reduced profit splits. Traders reported that previously valid trades and profits were retroactively reduced or invalidated.
The firm published a refund and settlement structure by account type and said support would remain available through 31 January 2026. Its CEO stated the company had paid out more than $220 million over its life.
FundingTicks still appears in comparison articles published in 2026 as a live recommendation. It is not one.
What instant funding actually costs
Headline prices are close to meaningless because account sizes differ so much. Normalising them changes the picture completely.
| Firm and plan | Account size | Price | Cost per $100,000 | Loss room | Cost per $1,000 of loss room |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| OFP Funding Instant Lite | $50,000 | $150 | $300 | $2,500 | $60 |
| Blue Guardian Instant | $100,000 | $467 | $467 | $6,000 | $78 |
| Tradeify Lightning Funded | $25,000 | $359 | $1,436 | $1,000 | $359 |
| Funded Trading Plus Instant | $5,000 | $119 | $2,380 | $300 | $397 |
| FundedNext Stellar Instant | $2,000 | $60 | $2,999 | $120 | $500 |
| FXIFY Instant Standard | $5,000 | $250 | $5,000 | $400 | $625 |
| Instant Funding IF Micro | $2,000 | $79 | $3,950 | $120 | $658 |
| City Traders Imperium $10K | $10,000 | $399 | $3,990 | $600 | $665 |
| City Traders Imperium $80K | $80,000 | $3,999 | $4,999 | $4,800 | $833 |
Two findings stand out.
The spread on capital is 17 to one. OFP charges $300 per $100,000 of simulated capital. FXIFY’s Standard $5,000 account charges $5,000 for the same notional exposure. These are not competing products in any meaningful sense, and comparing them on price alone is misleading.
The spread on loss room is 14 to one, and the ranking shifts. Loss room is what you are actually buying. An account with a large balance and a tight drawdown gives you no more freedom to be wrong than a small account with a generous one. On this measure OFP and Blue Guardian remain cheapest, but City Traders Imperium moves from “most expensive” to “most expensive, for a reason” once you account for its static, balance-based drawdown and absent daily limit.
For context, a two-step evaluation typically costs 1 to 2 percent of the funded amount, so roughly $1,000 to $2,000 per $100,000. Several instant options in the table beat that outright. The claim that instant funding always costs several times more than an evaluation is no longer accurate across the whole market, though it remains true at the small-account end.
The rule that ends most instant accounts
It is not the price and it is not the daily loss limit. It is the drawdown type.
Static drawdown sets one floor and leaves it there. Buy a $50,000 account with a 5 percent static drawdown and your account fails at $47,500, whatever happens in between. Profit does not move the floor.
Trailing drawdown raises the floor every time your equity makes a new high. Take that same $50,000 account with a $2,500 trailing drawdown, run it to $54,000, and your floor is now $51,500. You can be up $1,500 on the account and still be one bad session from a breach.
End-of-day trailing is the middle ground used across futures prop. The floor updates once per session on closing balance rather than continuously on intraday equity, which means an intraday spike does not permanently raise your fail point. For a trader who scales into positions, EOD trailing is meaningfully safer than intraday trailing.
Two further mechanics are worth checking before you buy.
Some firms calculate drawdown on balance rather than equity. City Traders Imperium states explicitly that drawdown is calculated from account balance, not floating equity, so an open losing position does not consume the buffer until it is closed. This is a substantial difference for swing traders.
Some firms convert a trailing drawdown to static once you clear a threshold. FXIFY’s Standard account locks its trailing floor at your starting balance after 8 percent profit or your first payout. That single clause is worth more than a few percentage points of profit split.
Instant funding compared with an evaluation
| Instant funding | Two-step evaluation | |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | Higher per attempt | Lower per attempt, often multiple attempts |
| Time to first payout | Days | Weeks, typically 14 to 30 days after passing |
| Profit split | 70 to 100% depending on firm and tier | Commonly 80 to 90% |
| Drawdown room | Usually tighter, often trailing | Usually more generous |
| Consistency rules | Often absent on instant products | Common |
| Failure cost | Full fee, immediately | Reset fee, usually lower |
| Who it suits | Traders with a tested edge | Traders still building one |
The honest framing is this. Instant funding buys you speed and removes the evaluation gate, and it charges you for both by compressing your loss room. If your strategy is genuinely tested and your position sizing is disciplined, that is a reasonable trade. If you are still learning, the compressed drawdown will find that out faster and more expensively than an evaluation would.
There is also a psychological cost that experienced traders warn about consistently: a large upfront fee creates a sunk-cost pull toward recovering it, which is exactly the mindset that breaches accounts. Firms that have written about their own products, including My Funded Futures, make this argument openly against instant funding.
Firm risk is part of the price
The prop industry has consolidated hard. Industry estimates put closures at 80 to 100 firms in 2024 alone, driven partly by MetaQuotes reducing support for proprietary firms, alongside falling pass rates and rising costs.
The trend has continued. FundingTicks began winding down in January 2026. Seacrest Funding closed its prop division on 6 February 2026 and pivoted entirely to its CFD brokerage business, terminating all accounts and positions.
This matters more for instant funding than for evaluations, because you have more money with the firm at any given moment. An evaluation trader typically has a challenge fee of around $100 at risk. An instant funding trader can have several thousand dollars of fee plus unwithdrawn profit exposed to a firm that may restructure with limited notice.
Practical steps that reduce this exposure:
- Withdraw on the earliest cycle available rather than compounding a balance you do not control.
- Split capital across two firms rather than concentrating in one.
- Check payout history and processing times before committing, not after.
- Treat sudden rule changes as an exit signal. The FundingTicks collapse was preceded by exactly that: tightened hold times, higher targets and reduced splits.
- Prefer firms that publish complete rule sets. Opacity before purchase predicts opacity at payout.
How to choose an instant funding account
Work through these in order.
- Decide your market first. Forex and CFD firms and futures firms are separate industries with different pricing models, drawdown conventions and platforms. Do not compare across them.
- Calculate cost per $1,000 of loss room, not cost per account. Divide the fee by the maximum drawdown in dollars. This is the only figure that compares offers fairly.
- Identify the drawdown type. Static beats end-of-day trailing beats intraday trailing, for almost every trading style. Check whether it is balance-based or equity-based, and whether it converts to static after a threshold.
- Check the daily loss limit separately. Several strong options have none at all, which suits traders who take larger single-session swings.
- Read the payout terms for the trigger, not the frequency. “Weekly payouts” means nothing if there is a 5 percent minimum growth requirement and a consistency rule attached.
- Confirm minimum trading days and account duration. OFP’s 30-day duration and five-day minimum change the product materially compared with an open-ended account.
- Check platform and strategy compatibility. EA permissions, copy trading, news trading, weekend holding and martingale rules vary widely and are often buried in the terms.
- Assess the firm, not just the offer. Payout history, published rules, how long it has operated and whether it has changed terms retroactively.
How we verified this guide
Every figure attributed to a specific firm was taken from that firm’s own website on 18 August 2026. Where a firm does not publish a rule, we have said so rather than filling the gap from third-party sources. Cost-per-capital and cost-per-drawdown figures are our own calculations from published prices and published drawdown limits.
Prop firm terms change frequently, and discount codes shift prices by 20 to 70 percent on a near-permanent basis. Treat the prices here as list prices at the date of verification and confirm current terms with the firm before purchasing. We review this page quarterly.
We have no commercial relationship that determines the ordering of firms in this guide. Where a link to a firm is an affiliate link, it is disclosed as such and does not affect the assessment.
FAQs
What is instant funding in prop trading?
Instant funding is a prop firm account that skips the evaluation phase. You pay a one-time fee, receive a simulated funded account immediately, and become eligible for payouts from your first profitable trade rather than after hitting a profit target in a challenge.
How does instant funding work?
The firm sells you the funded account directly instead of selling you an evaluation. Because it is not collecting multiple challenge fees, it charges more upfront and usually applies tighter risk parameters, most often a smaller or trailing drawdown, to compensate for the missing filter.
Are instant funded accounts worth it?
They are worth it if you have a tested strategy and would otherwise expect to pay for two or more evaluation attempts, and if you value reaching a payout in days rather than weeks. They are poor value if you are still developing an edge, because the compressed drawdown gives you less room to learn.
Is an instant funding prop firm legit?
The established firms in this guide operate openly, publish their rules and process payouts on documented schedules. The model itself is legitimate. The risk is firm-specific rather than model-specific, which is why payout history, published rules and operating history matter more than the marketing.
Does FTMO offer instant funding?
No. FTMO operates an evaluation-based model and does not offer a no-challenge instant funding product. Traders looking for instant access need to consider the firms listed in this guide instead. Be aware that several unaffiliated websites use the FTMO name in domains and marketing for unrelated instant funding offers.
Does instant funding have a consistency rule?
It varies by firm and by tier within the same firm. FXIFY's Standard instant account has no consistency rule while its Lite tier applies a 20 percent rule. FundedNext's Stellar Instant has none. City Traders Imperium has none. Always check the specific tier rather than the firm.
What is the cheapest instant funding prop firm?
On cost per dollar of simulated capital, OFP Funding's Instant Lite tier is the cheapest we verified at approximately $300 per $100,000. On cost per dollar of drawdown room, which is the more meaningful comparison, OFP and Blue Guardian both sit at the low end. The cheapest option is not automatically the best, because tighter rules can accompany lower prices.
How do instant funding prop firms verify trader performance?
They do not verify it in advance, which is the point. Verification happens continuously on the funded account itself through drawdown limits, daily loss limits and, where applied, consistency rules. In practice the funded account performs the same filtering function an evaluation would, just with real payout eligibility attached.
Can you get instant funding for crypto trading?
Several forex and CFD firms include crypto pairs in their instant accounts, though usually at sharply reduced leverage. Instant Funding, for example, applies 1:2 leverage on crypto against 1:100 on currencies. Dedicated crypto instant funding products exist but are a much smaller market segment.
What happens if I breach the drawdown on an instant funded account?
The account closes and the fee is not refunded. Some firms sell a reset at a reduced price, others require a fresh purchase. Because the entry fee is higher than an evaluation fee, the cost of a breach is correspondingly higher, which is the main financial argument against instant funding for inconsistent traders.
